Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-11
This privacy policy describes how The Outlast Trials Wiki ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you visit this website.
Information We Collect
The Outlast Trials Wiki is a static website. We do not require an account and do not ask visitors to submit game credentials, payment details, or other personal information. The hosting layer may process basic request data such as an IP address, user agent, and security logs to serve pages and prevent abuse.
Google products and advertising
If Google AdSense, Google Analytics, or another Google product is enabled on this site, that product may collect, share, and use information about visits to measure usage, protect the service, personalize advertising, or report performance. Depending on the product and your choices, this can include cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser and device identifiers, approximate location, and page or event activity. Google explains how it uses data from partner sites at Google's partner-sites data-use page .
When ads are served, third-party advertising partners may place or read cookies and may use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to deliver, measure, and limit advertising. Advertising and analytics scripts are intended to load only after the applicable consent choice where the site requires consent. You can change cookie controls in your browser or use the controls provided by the relevant service.
Other third-party services
We may use the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Advertising partners (including AdSense or Adsterra when configured) — serve labeled ad creative and measure delivery.
- Analytics (including Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics when configured) — provide aggregate page-view and performance reports.
- Cloudflare — our hosting provider, which may process basic request data for security and performance (and serve Web Analytics when enabled, see above).
- Comments (giscus, opt-in) — when the comment section is enabled, giscus.app loads an embedded GitHub view; viewing it exposes your IP address and browser info to that service, and signing in to comment is handled by GitHub under its own privacy policy.
- Embedded videos (YouTube) — pages with videos load thumbnail images from i.ytimg.com and, after you press play, the YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com. Until you interact, no YouTube cookies are set.
Cookies
Some third-party services set or read cookies, and some may use web beacons or similar identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser settings and any consent controls shown on the site. Disabling cookies may affect ad personalization or comments but will not prevent access to the wiki content.
Children's Privacy
The Outlast Trials Wiki is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
